Tech Analyst

A day in your life might include (what you will be doing/ key responsibilities)

Document business processes and rules clearly for effective system implementation.
Research and analyze new banking products and processes, with focus on financial services.
Deliver high- quality project results on schedule.
Evaluate and understand financial services applications.
Create implementation plans and ensure delivery within agreed timelines.
Develop solutions for business requirements and provide time estimates.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, and Developers on analysis and task assignment.
Understand system logic, data flows, mapping, and specifications for target systems and data sources.
Oversee development processes, maintain documentation, and make timely decisions on changes.
Manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and translate them into technical specifications.

What we need from you (your skill and experience/ what you’ll bring to the team)
Experience:

1–3 years of system analysis experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent work experience accepted.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of system design methods (UML, BPMN).
Experience with banking systems (core banking, payments, loans) and digital banking technologies.
Proficiency in data modeling, databases (SQL), and APIs.
Experience with analysis and modeling tools.
Understanding of customer and employee- facing applications.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Ability to write System Requirement Specifications for banking products.
Understanding of financial systems and regulations (PCI- DSS, GDPR).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical capabilities.
Excellent problem- solving and negotiation skills for working with stakeholders.
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Detail- oriented with proactive problem- solving approach.
Proven project management experience.
Effective team collaboration skills.
Proven leadership in team building and matrix management.

Tools Proficiency:

Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar analysis tools.
Knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Trello) is a plus.
