Technical Manager (Body Shop)

Ensuring that an equipment spare parts inventory is developed and maintained to ensure that critical equipment spare parts are sourced, maintained and on hand as required.
Select, develop and train Maintenance team members to effectively execute operations to achieve business goals and targets.
Empower and support teams to improve their work environment and eliminate any constraints.
Ensuring that MTTR and MTBF targets are developed and met to assist with Production volume and quality metrics.
Compliance to VinFast Manufacturing systems and processes.
Looking for ways to eliminate waste and cost out of the business though team engagement and ownership.
Establish people development as a core value to develop future leaders and grow organisational capability.
Create a Proactive Maintenance culture, ensuring failure modes are identified before a downtime event and that irreversible corrective actions are implemented for all Equipment failures.
Drive and support all activities to ensure overall business objectives and targets are met or exceeded.
Develop and lead a Safety first culture while ensuring safe work practices and compliance to all local regulatory guidelines are met.
Effectively train, coach and support team members in problem solving and resolution activities.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information.
Qualified trade experience as a Mechanical or Electrical tradesperson is essential.
At least 10 years experience in a Maintenance role, with leadership experience and a strong technical mindset.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Automotive or related technical fields.
Strong communication skills to enable effective dialogue with local and international audiences across all levels of the organisation.
Highly motivated, self- starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi- national relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Driving Plant throughput, ensuring that equipment is reliable and that plant bottlenecks are identified and action plans developed for resolution.
Ensuring that planned Maintenance activities do not have an impact on Production requirements.
A desire to lead a team that instills a Safety first approach to everything we do, ensuring that LOTO (Lock out tag out) processes and procedures are adhered to and all risks are identified and mitigated before each task.
Good common- sense business insight and experience with the development and implementation of business strategies.
Sound Technical knowledge of a highly automated environment desirable.
Demonstrated successful leadership of Maintenance teams within a high paced, automated Manufacturing environment.
