GENERAL JOB FUNCTION
TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT
Participate and represent technical department in cross functional activities.
Manage Technical Department
Ensure that technical development like constructions and drawings is done following procedure for Product Development.
Develop and manage human resources in department.
Ensure samples are made in right quality on agreed time.
2. TESTING
Co- ordinate with Independent Test Center and maintain status.
Manage equipment and machine in Test.
Ensure all Test reports are accurate and reliable.
Accountable for all activities in Test Center in the factory.
RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT
Ensure technical drawings and materials specifications are finished in due time for preparation for mass production.
Chair and manage prototype technical reviews.
Perform risk analysis for new products and identify Critical To Quality (CTQ) parameters for products and processes.
Plan and follow up on sample orders to deliver right quality on time – and report to client if delays.
Manage and control construction changes (ECR)
Make sure Product Development Procedure is followed for construction and drawings.
Answer and evaluate technical questionnaires and requirements from customers.
Develop and maintain QA procedures and work instructions for TD.
2. TESTING
To communicate with external test lab for the test report and test standards.
Maintain and develop new Work Instruction & Procedure as needed.
To conduct value engineering and suggest design engineering to hit the target prices.
Manage the Test equipment, machines and improvements so that the department can perform all testing standards in case.
To increase and improve the reliability of product test via the latest updated standards.
Budget and cost responsible for the Test Center Department. Continuous improvement in terms of testing capacity and cost reduction.
To prepare the test standards and test procedure following the EN standards, ASTM standards, ISO standards and customer standards.
Assist the technical team in identifying solutions and CAPA’s when needed.
To implement the product test as required standards or customer test procedure.
Training & development of subordinates in SOP and Standards.
To communicate with and feed back to other departments (Design Team, Sales, Production …) about the test results.
