JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user- friendly documentation, ensuring that complex technical concepts are easily understood by non- technical audiences. The role involves collaborating with various teams such as development, product management, and QA to produce high- quality technical content across different platforms.
Cross- functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross- functional teams to ensure the documentation aligns with product features, updates, and releases.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the documentation process, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and clarity.
Content Review & Editing: Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all documents.
Knowledge Sharing: Assist in building a knowledge- sharing culture within the organization by maintaining a centralized repository of documentation and best practices.
Audience Targeting: Adapt writing style to different audiences, ensuring technical content is appropriate for both developers and end- users.
Documentation Creation: Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, user manuals, help guides, release notes, API documentation, and training materials.
User Assistance: Provide guidance on how to use complex systems or products via clear, detailed instructions.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather information and define the structure of the documentation to meet user needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience with tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana for task management.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, user- friendly manner.
Good at English Communication.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Experience with graphic design tools for creating technical diagrams and flowcharts (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast- paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a team- oriented mindset.
Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, MS Word, or Google Docs.
Experience with programming in the past. Can deeply understand how a system works.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with writing technical documents for software, hardware, or IT systems.
Experience with API documentation, particularly RESTful APIs.
