Trim Supervisor

Trim Supervisor is the person in charge of ordering trim from Oversea and local to comply with sample and production requirements. Also responsible for the supplier we used to work for UA and be sure we use the correct and best one for our customer. The key to success for this person is having the right quality trims at the right time and the best price. Ensure the trim purchaser follows SOP strictly, and be sure we get the best price, lead time, surcharge, and quality from the supplier we work with.
Order raw material to supplier

Send the trims code to merch
Work with supplier to update the actual price & leadtime after receiving the official po
Ask supplier to ship after receiving payment
Send tt copy of full payment to supplier to get invoices
Make a list of received trims weekly
Ordering the fabric/trims 24 hour later after receive the po from merchandiser.
Work with supplier to make extra/ return
Ask warehouse to create trims code
Receive trims purchase order with merch’s signature
Draft the appendix of trims purchase contract (if need)
Transfer the price & leadtime of oversea shipment to merch
Work with import&export team team to arrange the oversea shipment
Make a request to check trims before stock in
Transfer documents to purchasing admin to process for deposit
Negotiate the best prices, surcharge, quality and leadtime with suppliers
Update po status on the system
Receive shipping sample of trims
Provide documents for warehouse to ask for stock in
Make grn & send to merch for confirmation
Check trims po file
Review the shipping sample compared to the request
Send tt copy of deposit to supplier
Reactive in tracking trims purchasing/ developing to meet leadtime
Transfer shipping sample of trims & the approved sample trims to qa for quality inspection
Transfer documents to purchasing admin to process full payment

Supplier Management

Hold follow up meeting for trims issue
Rework with supplier to further improve trims in bulk
Update price and other information on database
Attend pp meeting & feedback before starting bulk production
Evaluate supplier’s performance & negotiate for long- term orders

Experiences 4- 5 years of same level in garment field or trims purchasing
Fluent in English
Graduate University degree.
Purchasing and Planning experience at least 5 years
