JOB SUMMARY AND MISSION
Being a project leader for particularly assigned group companies to structure accounting fundamental and process for all modules and ensure smooth ongoing accounting operations and related internal controls to be in place and properly complied. Also being an active assistant to Accounting Manager involving in all finance- related project implementation.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
A restaurant company, a Japanese food company and a holding company – newly set up companies
** Required to sign as the Company’s accountant **

Stay up- to- date with changes in accounting regulations, standards, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, such as operations, procurement, and sales, to provide financial insights and support decision- making.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, budget vs. actual reports, and month- end and year- end analysis.
Manage the day- to- day accounting operations, including accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger, and inventory accounting.
Other ad- hoc assignments
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes to produce accurate and reliable financial statements.
Deal with government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations
Prepare various reports as required by management
Provide financial analysis and support for new business initiatives and projects.
Monitor and control cash flow to maximize operational efficiency and working capital management.
Manage and lead the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to optimize their performance and professional growth.
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop and implement an efficient and accurate accounting system from scratch.
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
Preparing and submitting corporate tax reports to the authorities

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Experience

Experience in general ledger and reporting functions in retail business (3- 5 years)
Experience in accounting system implementation and retail is advantage

Education

Master or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or any related field

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA) is highly preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Experience in setting up accounting systems and processes for a new business.

Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

Familiarity with ERP system is a plus
Excellence command of MS Excel
Good command of English skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Able to proactively work and deal with ambiguity
Able to balance multiple priorities and manageable for volume of transactions
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast- paced startup environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
