Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant for the Surveillance & Security Department provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of both surveillance and security functions within the casino environment. This role involves managing documentation, coordinating departmental activities, and facilitating communication between the Surveillance & Security Manager, department staff, and other casino departments. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, maintain confidentiality, and have a foundational understanding of both surveillance and security operations in a casino setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in ensuring the department&039;s adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Handle incoming communications, manage office supplies, and perform other administrative tasks to support the department&039;s efficiency.
Manage databases related to surveillance footage archives, access logs, and equipment inventories.
Monitor inventory levels of surveillance and security equipment and coordinate maintenance or procurement as necessary.
Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all surveillance and security operations and sensitive information.
Maintain and update departmental records, ensuring all surveillance logs, incident reports, and compliance documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
Compile and prepare regular reports on surveillance and security activities, incidents, and compliance metrics for management review.
Assist the Surveillance & Security Manager with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and drafting correspondence.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and meetings for surveillance and security staff, including logistics and material preparation.
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all surveillance and security data.
Act as a liaison between the Surveillance & Security Department and other casino departments to facilitate information flow and collaborative efforts.
