- You know how to upsell quality products and use suggestive selling in order to complement products, resulting in a higher average spending and overall revenue increase.
- You oversee the amount of work and are pro- active in asking for assistance from colleagues whenever required.
- Personalize beverage recommendations by genuinely listen to guests and anticipate guests’ needs by observing and showing honest interest in what they like or drank before.
- You carefully handle cash and credit card payments, by correctly recording transactions in the Point of- Sale System, resulting in an accurate daily report at the end of the day.
- You are pro- active in supporting colleagues in Ocean Club, but also in other food and beverage outlets if requested by the management.
- Your communication with colleagues, through both body language and voice, is always calm and with a gracious tone.
- Follow procedures concerning inventory control, breakage, spoilage, temperature logs and cleaning tasks. You make sure that all recordings are documented, stored properly and irregularities are reported to the management.
- You think outside the bar boundaries and make guests feel comfortable by interacting with them in an appropriate and professional manner, both behind and in front of the bar area.
- You ensure that the bar is stocked according to the standards and equipment is clean and well arranged. Your professionalism as a bartender shows through a perfectly arranged bar and an inviting bar appearance.
- You responsibly record orders through the Point of Sale system and actively monitor preparation times in order to deliver food & beverage items within a timely manner.
- Your body language is positive and confident, yet humble, creating an inviting and approachable atmosphere for our guests.
