IT Helpdesk

An IT Technician is a professional who is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware & software components of the organization&039;s computers. Their duties may include repairing or replacing damaged hardware, performing tests on new hardware or software, installing new equipment and logging its resolution.
In the role of IT Technical Support
Responsibility Areas

Deploying and administering Server, Domain Controller, Antivirus systems.
Deploy and manage online meeting system.
Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
Stay up to date with information and keep abreast of technology trends and developments.
Deploying and managing the system of switchboards, surveillance cameras, timekeepers, door control.
Monitor, configure, troubleshoot LAN/WAN systems and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls...).
Manage and purchase IT equipment according to user requirements.
Research and propose new methods to improve computer network systems, processes, IT policies.
Perform virtualization of VMWare and Windows servers.
Management of sales software, accounting software and other software of the company.
Ensure smooth connection between servers.

Education and Experience

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN).
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (Cisco, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, VMWare).
Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field.
