Your role & responsibilities
Job description
- Directly handle and resolve support requests from internal users.
- Setup, install, configure, troubleshooting and ongoing usability of user computers.
- Analyze the issues, propose solutions, and implement them. Main areas of support include servers, PCs, LAN, WAN, Wireless, printers, scanners, projectors, fixed telephones, VOIP and other IT devices.
- Maintain, backup, and upgrade IT infrastructure and user stations as per requests from the Regional IT team.
- Undertake additional technical tasks assigned by the Management.
- Ensure compliance with Global and Regional IT guidelines, including monitoring and guiding staff in adherence to Regional IT Policy and Data Policy.
- Manage IT company assets.
- Coordinate device procurement processes, including vendor liaison, proposal preparation, manager approvals, order placement, quality assurance, and documentation.
- Collaborate with ISPs to monitor network performance, ensuring the smooth and stable operation of company systems.
- Provide guidance to staff on utilizing computers and software in the workplace.
- Report to Local CEO, IT Director APAC, and CIO APAC.
Your skills & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Networking and IT Systems.
- Experience working with networks and IT helpdesk.
- Linux system
- Mac OS system
- Windows system
- Knowledge of LAN topologies and architectures.
- Good English in writing and speaking.
- Good problem-solving and customer-oriented mindset.
