Product Engineering Manager

Oversee the whole operation of Product Engineering Department (management, administrative and technical aspects)
MAIN TASKS
· Implements continuous improvements with regards to Engineering in terms of Machining Operations / Process and Assembly.
· Coordinates closely with RDD and Production, thus making review of plans to make sure that the item is properly engineered in terms of material and processes, making sure that every part produced is safe and economical.
· Troubleshoots packaging issues in conformance of internationally acceptable standard
· Answers customer complaints and give advises, recommendations / solutions on problems arises during delivery of the product.
· Responsible for over- all operation of Product Engineering Department including Packing Engineering.
· Coordinates with clients / designers on the specifications of new sample items, assist development of new samples for Market and Shows.
· Establish and formulate Engineering standards such as construction, material cuttings, sizes and process procedures
Product Value Engineering:
· Coordinates testing of new methods and evaluates test results.
· Evaluates product design to determine its conformance with established company standard.
· Plans and coordinates with RDD and production to develop and apply standardized design criteria and production requirements.
· Recommends technical direction for research and development programs to enhance production methods to improve over- all efficiency and reduce costs.
· Serve as a bridge between engineering and other departments to formulate and apply design criteria and production requirements for proposed products.
· Creates and develop tracking program and report production costs during design development.
· Evaluate initial design or recommends modifications based on manufacturability, cost, and other factors.

Have 5 years of production floor experience at least Suitable to Work office and shop works
Preferably Engineering graduate
Good knowledge in CAD software + 3D modelling Other CAD software + modelling techniques
Good at English communication (verbal and written skills)
