Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Manager to lead our technology team in developing cutting- edge products. This individual will be responsible for overseeing software development and big data engineering efforts, ensuring the delivery of high- quality and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:
Lead, mentor, and grow a high- performing team of software developers.
Develop and execute the technical strategy for software development
Collaborate with executive leadership to align technical initiatives with business goals
Software Development:
Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the technical team.
Identify and address technical debt, ensuring long- term sustainability of the codebase.
Technical Excellence:
Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
Identify and address technical debt, ensuring long- term sustainability of the codebase.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the technical team.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our technical achievements and capabilities.
Communicate technical concepts and project status effectively to both technical and non- technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Proven experience (8+ years) in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Knowledge of data science, big data technologies, and statistical analysis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse technical team.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software development tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP (Laravel), ReactJs, Python… or similar.
Excellent problem- solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and its impact on the business.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automated testing and deployment.
Knowledge of data science, big data technologies, and statistical analysis.
Experience in a startup environment, with a track record of scaling technology teams and solutions.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
