ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our team. This key role manages accurate daily accounting, with a focus on revenue and content costs. Advanced English is required for direct reporting and communication with cross- border team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bookkeeping & Closing: Perform core accounting functions (AP/AR, cash flow). Lead the process for monthly account close and assist in preparing quarterly reporting.
Payment Processing: Manage timely and accurate execution of vendor payments and monthly salary payments.
Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with cross- functional and international team members.
Digital Media Focus: Specialize in recording revenue (ads, sponsorship) and managing specialized content production costs.
Compliance & Tax: Handle tax declarations, including preparation and submission of VAT reports, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
Audit & External Relations: Liaise with banks for all operational matters. Coordinate and provide necessary documents to local auditors and the Singapore audit team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Language: Advanced English for communication and collaboration with international team members (written and verbal).
Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of VAS and tax regulations (especially VAT). Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
Education: Bachelor&039;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Attributes: Meticulous, responsible, honest, and able to work independently.
Preference: Experience in Digital Media, Advertising, Tech, or Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
