IT Operations Support Engineer
Pizza 4P‘s is seeking an experienced IT Operations Support Engineer to join our global technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing operational support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure and systems across our international locations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Participate in the implementation and deployment of new IT systems and technologies
Respond to and resolve technical issues and service requests from end- users in a timely and professional manner
Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations
Monitor and maintain servers, networks, applications, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
Perform routine system administration tasks, including backups, updates, and patching
Provide training and support to end- users on the use of IT systems and applications
Participate in an on- call rotation to support critical systems and handle after- hours incidents
Assist with the creation and enforcement of IT policies and standards
Collaborate with various teams (e.g., development, security, networking) to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
WHO YOU ARE
Excellent troubleshooting and problem- solving skills
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper- V)
Understanding of IT security principles and best practices
Ability to work in a fast- paced, multicultural environment
3+ years of experience in an IT operations or systems administration role
Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends as required
Experience with server hardware, storage systems, and networking equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, VMware)
Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks
Experience working in a global or multinational IT environment
