As a Team Leader – Insurance Product, you will support the Manager in driving the development, management, and performance of insurance products. You will collaborate with cross- functional teams, such as , product design, marketing, and technology, to deliver innovative insurance solutions. You will also play a role in guiding the product team, ensuring goals are met, and working on improving the existing product lineup in line with market trends and business objectives.
What you will do
Product Development:
Assist in designing and developing new insurance products or improving existing ones.
Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor products to identify opportunities.
Collaborate with product design, compliance, and data teams to ensure the viability and regulatory compliance of products.
Team Leadership:
Support the Manager in managing a small team of product & tech.
Monitor team performance, allocate tasks, and ensure that deadlines are met.
Coach and mentor team members.
Project Management:
Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables for multiple product development projects.
Liaise with different departments (marketing, sales, technology, etc.) to coordinate product launch and promotion.
Assist in preparing product documentation, including user guides and technical specs.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of insurance products post- launch, making necessary adjustments to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
Regularly update senior management on product performance through data- driven reports.
Work on pricing strategies and align them with market needs and company profitability goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a key point of contact between the insurance product team and internal stakeholders (marketing, finance, customer service, etc.).
Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of product changes, enhancements, and new developments.
What you will need
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in non- life and/or life insurance underwriting / product or relevant areas developing insurance products, driving products improvement and adding new features
Prefers candidates who have experience in the product lines that are relevant to e- wallet users such as: accidental & health insurance, phone & gadget insurance, e- wallet insurance…
Extensive and current experience developing large- scale product solutions for leading global firms
Experience driving product vision, go- to- market strategy, and roadmaps while leading cross- functional teams
Wide knowledge of Vietnam insurance regulations
Inspiring leadership and team building coupled with a demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a collaborative, matrixed organizational structure
Excellent creative, strategic and analytical skills and good judgment with outstanding ability to quickly synthesize diverse and complex information
Outstanding communication and relationship building skills to/with internal related teams and insurance partners.
