- Khi nghĩ việc, kế toán sẽ giam lại tháng lương cuối cùng và hoàn trả vào tháng tiếp theo, nhiều khi gây khó khăn cho việc sắp xếp tài chính.

- Many meetings: Scrum meetings (this is ok anyway...), one-on-one meetings, all hands meetings, internal team meetings, team leaders meetings, cross teams meetings, CIO meetings, unscheduled meetings,.......
- No snacks or instant noodles for those stay late like other company.
- Don't talk bad about the company/managers with Lync. They will read your chat log and blame you based on it!

- Work environment is good depending on team. Solid team-work within the team for the most part.
- Office has recreational perks like table-games, etc.
- Good annual leave of 20 days a year
- Work hours are convenient for early-risers, no traffic jams to deal with. Beneficial also as staff are able to perform their banking and other tasks during normal working hours.

Advice to Management
- Give more meaningful increments to staff
- Provide benefits to staff(travel, Internet, parking etc where applicable)
- Provide better medical/insurance benefit
- Provide staff a proper coffee machine
- Provide better-stocked pantry as some staff are required to work over the weekend and extended hours.
- Cure the indifference problem in middle-management. Exec-management should have oversight position hired in some regional offices to look into day-to-day operations
- Stop giving staff warning letters for "accountability" to clients
- Honour commitments and promises made to staff
- Provide employees with employee handbook and conduct guide
- Re-visit KPI and employee review process.

- Managers here are so bossy but they don't involve to projects, they're just managing people (not sure about their roles in the company). From what I see, this is their daily tasks: adulate higher manager, sweet talk to young girl staff, photoshooting...

- Too many policies for a software development environment: formal dress code, strict check-in / check-out, "not walking barefoot",
- Turnover rate is too high. The owners should find out why too many employees decided to leave. If you identify yourself as a product company (as opposed to outsourcing), you need good, long-term committed staff.
- Many large projects did not survive or had to go under maintenance.

- Unclear KPIs for each level
- There is a big insurance project, divided into smaller ones, but the smaller projects do not cooperate well together, due to the lack of people who have a good vision in system architecture.
- Salary reassessment is really biased. Some people who have outstood during the year do not get an increase as near as those who the bosses favor.

Aswig offers its Vietnamese staff a good variety of benefits that are similar to their Australian counterparts: 20 days of paid leaves, overseas trips, English speaking environment, close touch with Australian clients.
Salary is not at the top of the market but still good enough. Default 2-month bonus at year end is another plus. Don't be fooled when dealing you're renumeration package. They have a slightly above average range.
The trade union is really fun and organises better events and programmes than most of the other companies.
Extra hours are rarely required. If you are a parent and want a stable job with a balanced lifestyle, this is your destination. Not recommended for tech guru because you talent might be wasted here. Why? Read below.

Not many technical training classes. Expertise in what you're doing is not so important as being able to speak English. This leads to the fact that many posers (those better at boasting (well, visioning, as they call it) than actually working) hold higher roles. The company should revise its core values. Otherwise, you will eventually lose all the good people that remain.
The company do not have many clients (just a few Australian insurance agents) and the projects are often unstable in terms of size and resources. All the acquired projects were through the introduction of its parent company. This makes the future of the company questionable.

Lãnh đạo không quản lý tốt, dự án thiếu người nhưng vẫn ép làm cho kịp tiến độ. Công ty không có chính sách giữ người tốt dẫn đến key member nghỉ nhiều.
Công ty không khuyến khích OT, đôi khi khách hàng muốn OT thì phải xin phép rất khó khăn. Phải giải trình nhiều thứ làm nhân viên rất ức chế.

The office is very noisy, even when clients visit the office. It seems somebody doesn't want to work or have less task to do. People from all roles they chat chit and talk non-related work all the time. It's really a nightmare for the developer who gets stuck and wants to concentrate on their program or who wants to work in silent.
The company respect who has good communication skill but it doesn't mean they can make noise and disturb everyone.

- ASW is financially and structurally dependent on its parent company - an insurance agent with not much experience in software development.
- No tech guru with exceptionally good technical vision. Maybe fix and patch style is more preferred here.
- Managers care more about their boss than their staff.
- Promotion is slot based. If you're not close to the managers enough, forget about it unless you're a superman. Salary adjustment is another sad story.

Even if you're a key member of a project who contributes the most, when the project ends, they don't even want to keep you. Many QC engineers were forced to leave due to being assigned to low profile projects or getting their renumeration package adjusted at the lowest rate.
The company should have understood that human is the most valuable asset. The market is full of fish but it's very hard to find someone who can do stuff. Focus on your people and their productivity. Be clear about the KPI for each level, and never to fool anyone into a salary package lower than they should deserve.

- No opportunities to work onsite unless you're at top management level.
- Micromanagement is just too much. Productivity and outcomes are less important than having to tuck your trouser in, keeping the office quite, not toilering arround the kitchen, not walking barefoot, etc.
- Management involves employees in politics rather than drawing a career path for them. Some juniors are better than the seniors that they promote.
- The company can't keep good people because the management doesn't know what they're doing. All the good ones end up leaving. They just want to keep the obedient ones.
- Salary adjustment is very low this year (less than 10 for 90% of the employees).
- The management tricked all employees into not registering for the company trip by telling us we would just go to Mui Ne so everyone would not be interested, but then changing the whole plan.

- Will not keep you if you want to leave even your performance is on the highest top ranks.
- Don't have any session to study like the other companies.
- The working time is really tricky.
- HR staff keeps changing every 3-6 months.

Aswig provides good working environment and friendly staffs. English is the primary language. Although there are some people are prefer speaking Vietnamese but most of them will speak English when you speak English. So it's a good chance for everyone to maintain their language skills. Benefit is another good thing here. It's high probability that you will have 2-month bonus (13th and 14th). You also have 20 annual leaves and 10 sick leaves in a year, almost double the days of other companies. Salary is also good enough, maybe it's not the highest but more than the average of the market. Your social/medical/unemployment insurance are paid on your full salary. You can also join oversea company trip.

The company does not provide private medical insurance like most of other companies I've worked. It seems that you need more soft skills than technical to be promoted to higher position. If you are good at technical, you can solve any technical problems but your communication skill is bad, there will be a problem. Training program does not open frequently. The most value training program I've seen here is leadership program (which is cooperated with RMIT University, for lead/manager only), not too many soft skills/technical course for normal staffs).
